Supporting students is something we do together!
Because of our small scale, there is close contact between students, parents, and the school. The student’s well-being is central: students need to feel safe and comfortable in order to learn effectively. When there are concerns about a student’s development, for example in the areas of learning, behaviour, or social-emotional well-being, we identify them at an early stage and discuss them with the student and their parents.
Teachers tailor their lessons to students’ needs and provide additional support or extra challenge within the subject where needed. This may take the form of extra explanation, guidance, or more in-depth learning materials, within the scope of what we are able to offer.
For students who need more support than can be provided in class, the care coordinator guides the support process. In consultation with parents, we determine what support is most appropriate. This may include additional support sessions, training focused on study skills or social-emotional development, or guidance from external specialists such as a psychologist, speech therapist, or behavioural specialist.
In this way, we ensure that every student receives the support they need to develop to their full potential.
